Leonard William Tremayne, Jr. (1932 – 2013)

2013-09-16 14.24.11Leonard “Len” William Tremayne, Jr., a retired supervisor for Depue Warehouse, passed away to meet his heavenly Father on Monday, June 10th 2013 in Clearlake, California.

Born on March 7th, 1932 in King City, California, Len was raised around the Hopland and Mendocino Areas.

Len enjoyed Hunting and fishing during his time off from his work; additionally, he had a great passion for cutting, grinding, tumbling, and polishing rocks as a hobby.

Len loved to travel. With his sons, Len would travel through various parts of the western United States in their R.V. In a trip to New South Wales, Australia; Len loved to ride the train with his wife Janet McKinely and step daughters Melinda (Jason) Brien, and Natasha (Gavin) Cotterill, and his grandchildren Liam, Jesse, Jacob, Chole, Kai, Cody, and Link.

Len Served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War where he received four battle stars. He also served during the Japanese Occupation, and with the United Nations. Len also served with the Air force, Airborne.

Len was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary A. (Duruy), Daughter Melody, Stepson Robert, Foster Daughter Rosie, and his Parents Bessie Atteberry, and Leonard W. Tremayne Sr.

Len was a loving husband, caring dad, and a wonderful grandfather – he was loved by all.

Len’s memorial was held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Colusa California.
