When Elvira Gutierrez and her coworkers first heard about Relay for Life, the decided to jump on board.

“We are all doing it for someone that we love,” said Gutierrez, the Team Leader for Team Hope, Relay for Life of Colusa County, “everyone knows at least someone who has been effected by cancer.”

Team Hope consists of friends and family members from the Colusa County Department of Agriculture.

Team Hope currently has ten members and has raised $1.391 of its $1,000 goal.

On Saturday, July 18, 2015, Team Hope hosted a fundraiser out at the Colusa County Old Tyme Fly-In selling Lemonade Slushies.
