Edward Sughrue (1929-2015)

Edward (Ed) Sughrue passed away August 9, 2015 at his home in Maxwell, Ca at the age of 86. He was born on August 31, 1929 in Clearfield, PA.  He was a Maxwell resident for the last 47 years.

Ed worked as a heavy equipment operator for many years and even after retirement continued with local farmer’s excavator operator in the Maxwell area. He had a passion for the land and gardening. His hobbies, included growing various fruits and vegetables to share with friends and family and entered them in the local fairs, winning many ribbons. Along with watching Nascar with his friends.

Ed is survived by his Nephew Rodney Miller, wife Angie, and a Great Nephew, of Lynn, Indiana, a Great Niece of New Castle, Indiana and a Niece, Linda Butler and 2 Great Nieces of Portland, Indiana. And many other family members from Indiana.

He was preceded in death by his Loving Wife of 40 years Betty Sughrue.

Services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Thursday, August 13th  at the McNary-Moore Chapel 107 5th Street Colusa, CA. Visitation will be prior to services from 11:00am-1:00pm

Private burial will be at a later date in Indiana.

Arrangements are under the direction of McNary-Moore Funeral Service FD-410.
