City of Colusa to host AARP Driver’s Safety Classes

Sharpen driving skills and reduce insurance costs with AARP driving class on September 18.

Keep your driving skills sharp while at the same time reducing your insurance rate by taking an AARP Driver Safety Course being offered twice in September by the City of Colusa Parks and Community Services Department.

Seniors 50 or over who have completed the class with the past four years are eligible to receive a discount on their auto insurance.

The Initial Course will be held on Friday, September 18, from 8:30 Am to 5:00 PM and offered to anyone who has never take the driving class previously.

The Renewal Class will be offered on Friday, September 25, 2015 from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM and is offered to those who have completed the eight hour course within the past four years.

Classes will be held in the City of Colusa Conference Room, 425 Webster Street, Colusa.

The cost is $20 for AARP Members ad $25 for Non Members. Your AARP Number or Card will be needed to qualify for the discount. Don’t have your card? No problem, you can retrieve your membership number by calling AARP at 1 (888) 687-2277.

All participants will receive a certificate of completion which is valid for three years.

To register, signup at the Colusa City Hall, 425 Webster Street in Colusa.
Register by Thursday, September 17, 2015 as the class is limited on space.
