Maxwell Fire Protection District Election slated for November 3, 2015

Four candidates are seeking the opportunity to fill the three available seats on the Maxwell Fire Protection District board. Those candidates are Robert L. Sutton, DJ Mathis, William David Wells, and Kevin Ryan.

The Maxwell Fire Protection District has a total of 627 registered voters.

The polling place for this election will be located at the Maxwell Legion Hall in Maxwell.

According to the Colusa County Elections Department, Ballots were mailed this week to those voters within the district who are registered as permanent vote-by-mail voters.

Anyone interested in requesting a mailed ballot should contact the elections department for more information.

The last day to register to be eligible to vote in this election is October 19th.

The elections office will remain open on Election Day and will accept returned ballots until 8 p.m.
