Arbuckle Community Church Hosts After-school Program

Starting in October, the Arbuckle Community Church will begin hosting the ‘Pioneer Club’ starting  October 14th.

The ‘Pioneer Club’ will follow the DELTA curriculum and is a weekly club program for children aged Kindergarten through the sixth grade.

Participants will have the opportunity to grow socially, physically, intellectually, emotionally and spiritually through skill-building activities, projects, games, singing, Scripture memory and Bible study. In addition, time will be provided to help the students complete their assigned school homework.

“We wanted to reach out to the community by providing a low-cost mid-week after-school program that could help students academically as well as spiritually,” said Arbuckle Community Church, Family Pastor, Don Joel.

The group will meet weekly on Wednesday, when school is in session, from 2:15 pm – 5:00 pm.

There is a $20 materials fee per year.

Kindergarteners are welcome if they have an adult present.

The Arbuckle Community Church was founded in 1879 and exists to share the Love of God, the Gospel of Jesus Christ with compassion to all people, and equip those called by God to be disciples to do His will through the Holy Spirit.
