Kim Christy (1952-2015)

ChristyKim Christy passed away December 4th 2015 at his home at the age of 63. He was born on June 10, 1952. He was a resident of Williams for 51 years.

Kim worked in construction for Weston buildings and was director of public works for the city of Williams. He was a Williams volunteer fireman and an original member of the Colusa rugby team.

His different loves included his family, anything with a motor, 49er fan and NASCAR fan, rugby, “once a rugger, always a rugger”, the Beatles, his front porch and old movies, the townhouse bar, and Williams fire department.

He is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife Jane Christy for 42 years. His son Ryan and wife Bo, daughter Jamie and husband Jason, mother Jackie Kemp, sister Andrea Carella and husband Paul, sister Shelley Foley and husband Dennis, sister Diana Azevedo and husband Mark.

He is preceded in death by his father Connor Christy and brother Kevin Christy.

A service will be held at the community church in Williams on Saturday, December 12th at 11:00am. Graveside service will follow at the Williams cemetery and a celebration of life will be at the Williams fire department.
