Warren Henry Lenahan (1939-2015)

Lenahan obit photoWarren Henry Lenahan, 76, of Maxwell, passed away on December 16th, 2015.  He was born in Willows, CA on August 20, 1939 and grew up on a ranch in Delevan. He attended Maxwell schools and was a lifelong resident of Maxwell.   Warren continued his family’s tradition of rice farming, retiring in 2007 after 47 years in the fields.  Even in retirement, in an effort to keep busy, Warren continued to expand his business ventures as a contractor fighting wildfires throughout California.   He was a proud U.S. Army Veteran and a member of many local community organizations.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Mary Lou; his 2 children, Mike and Colleen; son-in-law Noel Bangalan; his grandchildren, Ivanna, Megan, and Paige, Cate and Ella, Tabitha, Sam and Sara; his dog Lenny; his brother Earl (Leonard), and his 2 sisters Adyne and Lavita; numerous nieces, nephews and good friends.

Services will be held December 28, 2015, 2pm at Sacred Heart Parish, 45 Elm Street, Maxwell, followed by a reception at the Maxwell Inn.  In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to your favorite charity/organization.  Warren was definitely one of a kind…irreplaceable.   In honor of Warren’s last wishes, JEANS REQUIRED!!
