Marci was born in Ozona, TX in November of 1934 to Mamie and Luther Laird. As a small child she moved to Porterville, CA where she graduated from Porterville High School and began her studies in Nursing. With the love and passion she held for caring for others, Marci dedicate over 25 years of her life to the nursing field. She always had a way about her that would light up a room and bring a smile to your face.

When not taking care of others, Marci enjoyed numerous activities. If she wasn’t out baiting her own hook and throwing a pole in the water, she was painting the scenery she had envisioned in her mind, or tending to her gardens. Her love of nature was seen by many.

Marci moved to Colusa, CA in January of 2006 where she resided until her passing. She enjoyed her later years spending time with family and the friends she made along the way. She will always be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother and whose greatest passion was helping others.

A Celebration of Life for Marci will be held in June of 2016 in Moro Bay, CA. If you wish, donations may be made to your local hospital or charity of your choice.

She leaves us rich in memories.
