Library Fine Forgiveness Ends Friday

Do you have an overdue library book? One week, a month, a year, ten years overdue? Now is your chance for a fresh start.

In honor of the year-long Centennial Celebration, the Colusa County Free Library is hosting a one-time “Amnesty Week,” January 4–8, allowing library patrons to return long-overdue and lost items without any fines.

The special amnesty applies to Colusa County Free Library materials only: the county library cannot waive fines for other libraries. All books, DVDs, CDs, videos and other materials returned to the library must be in good and usable condition for others to enjoy.

A prize will be given for the longest over-due item returned.

For more information, contact County Librarian, Stacey Costello at 458-0372.
