Maxwell Transfer Station Temporary Closure for upgrades

The Maxwell Transfer Station will be closed to the public January 14 & 15 to allow for the installation of a new automated commercial weight scale.

“This improvement will increase efficiency and accuracy by automating the weigh in/weigh out process and allow patrons to pay for disposal with a credit card,” said Mike Azevedo in a statement to the Pioneer Review.

The construction is scheduled to be completed be Friday, January 15, 2016. Normal residential collection will not be interrupted during the upgrade.
