Pie Sale at the Farm Show

The Colusa County Farm Show is a great place to browse various farm equipment, learn about new technologies, and celebrate our country’s heritage.

While you’re browsing this incredible event at the Colusa County Fairgrounds, stop by Atwood Hall where Our Lady of Lourdes School is hosting their annual Pie and Sweet Sale.

“We will have a variety of pies available for purchase,” said OLL Pie Sale event co-chair Blanca Dahlstrom, “they are all homemade pies – no store bought ones allowed.”

Blanca, like a handful of volunteers, has been baking several pies for the annual fundraiser benefiting the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School.

“Alma Hickel has graciously baked her famous Walnut Pie,” said Dahlstrom, “People often ask for it by name, it’s quite popular.”

The Our Lady of Lourdes Pie and Sweet Sale is located in the Atwood Hall kitchen area. Pies can be purchased by the slice or as a whole.

The Colusa County Farm Show is open Tuesday and Wednesday from 9 AM to 5 PM and on Thursday from 9 AM to 4 PM.
