Direct for Nashville, the Blackwood Legacy Quartet blends the best of the traditional southern gospel with today’s newest country Christian sound.

On Monday, February 22, 2016, the group will perform at First Christian Church, 725 Jay Street in Colusa, at 7:00 PM. The free event is open to the public.

The Blackwood Legacy has an all-star lineup.

Formed by the group leader and bass singer, Rick Price, the group has been in ministry for more than 15 consecutive years. Rick began his more than 35-year career singing with the legendary Dove and Grammy-award winning Blackwood Brothers Quartet, eventually being inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame with the group.

Joining him on baritone is Spokane native, Luke Yates, a favorite country and Christian recording artist and musician. Tenor singer, Paul Secord, was formerly a featured singer for Disney world and is known as one of the most versatile musicians on the scene today.

The newest member, lead singer, Hunter Sparksman, is a talented Christian recording artist based out of Nashville.

Performing since 2001, the Blackwood Legacy Quartet was signed to Mansion Records in 2010, and continue the grand tradition of gospel music, performing nearly 250 dates annually nationwide.
