Chamber of Commerce to Host Lunch Mob in February

The Colusa County Chamber of Commerce will host a ‘Lunch Mob’ at Don Habanero Mexican Restaurant on Wednesday, February 17, 2015, at 2:00 PM in Colusa.

“Yes, that’s right, 2 o’clock,” said Colusa County Chamber of Commerce President, Donna Phelan, “A late lunch to allow Don Habanero’s to seat their regular lunch crowd.”

The Colusa County Chamber of Commerce Lunch Mob is a fun activity that focuses on connecting members without a lot of the formality of an evening networking event.

Additionally, participants are responsible for purchasing their meals, it provides a boost to the local businesses and introducing new customers to area restaurants.

Lunch Mob participants must come prepared with businesses cards and provide a positive opportunity to network with other businesses. Some members will offer special offers for the group and a raffle prize for the business card raffle.

“The idea behind the Lunch Mob is a meet-and-greet group that will show up at a specified restaurant to build relationships,” said Phelan, “It’s a casual atmosphere to meet fellow business members and enjoy an excellent lunch at one of our many excellent restaurants.”
