All-American Mariah Diaz Signs with Lady Argo Volleyball

Lady Argo volleyball will add a JUCO All-American to its 2016 recruiting class with the signing of 6’2″ right side hitter Mariah Diaz.

Diaz, a native of Arbuckle, Calif., was named a Two-Year College Second Team All-American by the American Volleyball Coaches Association after helping lead the Feather River College Golden Eagles to 6th consecutive undefeated conference championship.

During the 2015 season, Diaz averaged 2.5 kills/set with a hitting percentage of .269 and averaged just under one block per set. Those statistics also made her an All-State selection, All-NorthCal Team selection, and the MVP of the GVC Conference.

She will be graduating from Feather River College in June with a 3.4 GPA and an associate’s degree.
