With the theme of “ Homemade, Homegrown History,  the 77th annual Colusa County Fair, June 9-12 will honor the past and move to the future.Colusa County Fair CEO Jonathan Howard said the Fair will have even more attractions and entertainment this year, but at the same time the focus will also be on the history of how the Fair came to be.

Colusa County Fair CEO Jonathan Howard said the Fair will have even more attractions and entertainment this year, but at the same time the focus will also be on the history of how the Fair came to be.

“We have been looking for photographs of past fairs and will use those photos to develop a memory wall during the fair,” he said.

“We’ve come across some pretty good photos but there is a need for more,” he said.
Howard is asking that anyone with photos from past years that they’d like to share to this exhibit, to please contact the Colusa County Fair Office.

“We will return all photos to anyone who shares with us,” he said.

“It would be great to identify the people in photos, and maybe someone who sees them will remember and share,” said Howard.

“Our fair has been in existence for 77 years this year. Along the way, many people have been dedicated to its success. What better way to honor our Homemade, Homegrown History than to recognize people who have loved the fair, who have great childhood memories of the fairs and can take a moment to remember,” said Howard.

To loan photos to this exhibit please do so by May 23, 2016. For more information contact the fair office at (530) 458-2641.
