Carolina S. Covarrubias (1930-2016)

0130161014aBorn to Salvador and Carolina Sosa in Morelia, Michoacan, September 10 1930- she passed peacefully in her sleep on March 13, 2016.

Early in life she was married in Mexico to Robert Contreras, and were gifted with three children,  Esperanza Contreras Sosa, Robert Contreras, Graceila Contreras Olvera.

Later in life she married Carlos Angel Covarrubias on January 18, 1963 and brought three more children into this world, Maria Covarrubias Ruggieri, Salvador Covarrubias, and Angel Covarrubias.

Carolina was preceded in death by her parents and her loving son Robert.

She is survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Carolina had a light that brought people near and far to see her. She was a surrogate grandmother to many children and never turned a hungry person away. May we continue her traditions and help light the way for others through the darkness and embrace the light of life and love in memory of her. Forever in our hearts.

Visitation will be held Thursday March 17 th from5-8 @ McNary-Moore Chapel Funeral Mass will be held Friday,March 18th at the Catholic Church of the Annunciation in Williams at 10:00am.

Sus papas Salvador y Carolina Sosa, originarios Morelia, Michoacan, nacio el 10 de Septembre 1930- falleció en Marzo 13, 2016.

Casada en Morelia con Roberto Contreras, fueron bendecidos con tres hijos. Esperanza Contreras Sosa, Roberto Contreras, y Graciela Contreras Olvera.

Después en su vida se caso por segunda vez y tubo tres hijos en segundo matrimonio. Maria Ruggieri, Salvador Covarrubias, y Angel Covarrubias.

Sus papa Salvador Sosa, Carolina Sosa y Roberto Contreras fallecieron antes de mi mama y después falleció su hijo Roberto Contreras.

Seguin viviendo los hijos/hijas, los nietos/nietas, y bisnietos.

Carolina tenia una luz que atria a jente de lugares lejos y cercanos. Ella era una abuela sustituta para muchos niños y nunca se dio la vuelta a persona necesidad. Podemos continuar con sus traiciones y ayudar a iluminar el camino a otros a través de la oscuridad y abrazar la luz de la vida y el amor en la memoria de ella. Por siempre en nuestros corazones.

Visitación 17 de marzo de 5-8pm en la capilla de McNary-Moore.

Misa funebre 18 de marzo a las 10:00am en la Iglesia Católica de la Anunciación.
