Art Show to be held for Alcohol Ink Art Class

After a successful Alcohol Ink art class, the Colusa County Arts Council will be hosting a special art show featuring the works of class participants.
“We want to showcase the artwork and provide an opportunity for the public to see what the Arts Council is all about,” said Arts Council Member Sheryl Goodman.
The Art Show will be held Wednesday, Oct. 5, at 5:30 PM in the Arts Council Gallery, 430 Market Street, Colusa.
With about 18 participants, the Alcohol Ink Art class was one of the council’s more successful instructional classes.
“I loved the class and will definitely take another one,” said Polly Codorniz a class participant. “I was surprised on how fast the ink dried and how fast the class went.”
Another class participant, Patti Arnold, commented she would love to do the class again and learn more.
Goodman commented that due to the success of the class she plans to have another one in the future.
