CITY OF COLUSA PLANNING COMMISSION – 7 PM, on Wednesday, Oct. 26, in the City Council Chambers in the Colusa City Hall located at 425 Webster Street in Colusa. The City of Colusa Planning Commission will review, and potentially approve the conditional use permit to allow a transitional housing facility at an existing commercial building located at 417 Main Street on property zoned General Commercial (C-G) District. The applicant is the County of Colusa Department of Behavioral Health. All interested parties are invited to attend and express their opinions or provide written comments before the hearing. Documents may be reviewed at, and written comments can be submitted to, the Planning Department at the above address, until 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 26, 2016. COLUSA COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION – 9 AM, on Wednesday, November 2, 2016, in the Board of Supervisors Room, Colusa County Historic Courthouse, 547 Market Street, in Colusa. The Colusa County Planning Commission will hold a hearing to review and potentially adopt a mitigated negative declaration for a Tentative Parcel Map creating nine (9) agricultural parcels ranging in size from 30±acres to 108±acres from a total of 585±acres on property zoned Exclusive Agriculture (E-A) located approximately one half mile north of Hillgate Road and 1.2-miles west of Interstate 5 along the Tehama-Colusa Canal; identified as APNs 018-260-041, -060, -077, & -081. A copy of the draft documents are available for public review at the Department of Planning & Building, 220 12th Street, Colusa, California. All interested persons are invited to submit comments in writing, or attend and be heard. Written comments should be filed with the Secretary of the Planning Commission.

COLUSA COUNTY TREASURER/TAX COLLECTOR – Announced tha the first installment of Colusa County Property Taxes for fiscal year 2016/17 will be due and payable November 1, 2016. The first installment of the 2016/2017 taxes will become delinquent and a 10% penalty will be added if not paid by December 10, 2016. The second installment will be due February 1, 2017, and if not paid by April 10, 2017, a 10% penalty plus a $20.00 cost will be added to each assessment. Both installments may be paid when the first installment is due. Payments may be made by mail or at the Colusa County Tax Collector’s Office between the hours of 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, holidays excepted. Tax bills will be mailed by November 1, 2016, to all property owners whose addresses are known to the Tax Collector.
