James Edward Fouch (1948-2016)

obit-james-fouchVisitation services for James Edward Fouch, will be held at 10:00 AM, on Friday, October 21, at McNary-Moore Chapel, 107 5th Street in Colusa. Griveside services will be held at 11:30 AM at the Holy Cross Cemetery, 1741 Wescott Rd, in Colusa.

James, 68, passed away on October 13, 2016 with his loving family by his side.

He was born July 27, 1948 in Yuba City, California to Ina and James L. Fouch and graduated from Yuba City High School. James achieved his bachelor’s degree at Chico State and for over 20 years, he worked as a Social Worker for Colusa and Sutter County.

Jim enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and playing baseball in high school and college. He enjoyed watching baseball with the San Francisco Giants as his favorite team.

Jim is survived by his step-son Commander Jason Litchfield of Pensacola, FL. His brother Justin Hunter of Yuba City, CA. His sister Joanne Walker (Leroy) of Marysville, CA. And nephews Gary Walker of San Jose, CA; Dan Walker of Marysville, CA; Ken Walker of Marysville, CA; John Walker of Marysville, CA, and Mike Lawson (Carol) of Wheatland, CA. His nieces Debbie Olsen of Camas, WA; and Denise Hernandez of Dublin, CA. And a brother-in-law Leonard Lawson of Livermore, CA. He is also survived by three grandchildren and another on the way.

He was preceded in death by his sister Shirley Lawson and his nephews Rick Lawson and
