Colusa High School to host Winterfest

It’s the time of year to be jolly and to enjoy the season’s festivities and follies. Christmas is just a winter’s chill away: Colusa High School soon transforms into a winter wonderland display.

With a school filled with holiday decorations, Colusa High School will celebrate its fifth annual Winterfest, starting at 5:30 PM on Thursday, Dec. 15, in the school quad.

The community is invited to enjoy hot chocolate and s’mores by the firepit while browsing student work on display. Featured student projects include art, photography, metal, wood projects, and science projects.

The FBLA, FFA, and ESA will display posterboards featuring photos from events and activities.

The school cheerleaders and drama club will provide performances.

Don’t forget to stop by the popular photo booth, and visit the kitty and puppy adoption area.

There is guaranteed to be fun and activities for everyone, including the little ones. Games and activities will be provided.
