Alicia Arriaga Navarro passed away on January 16, 2016 at the age of 61. Alicia was born June 21, 1955 in Tepatitlán Jalisco, Mexico to Jesus and Maria Guadalupe Arriaga. She was a resident of Colusa for 36 years.
Alicia enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Alicia was a high spirited person. She loved to travel and entertain family and friends. She was always there if you needed help or just a prayer to make things better. She was always full of love, especially for her grandchildren. She was a cook for 20 years at the Williams Children’s Center. She was also an active member in church. Alicia was married to Jose Guadalupe Navarro for 45 years.
Alicia is survived by her daughter Lydia Navarro-Medina, son Arnold Navarro and grandson Sebastian N. Medina, granddaughters Jocelyn and Jasmin Navarro and numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters: Juana, Jesus, Raymundo, Ramona, Arturo, Javier and Maria.
Alicia was preceded in death by her father Jesus Arriaga, brothers Carmelo and Fransisco and sister Guadalupe.
Visitation will be held Friday, January 20th from 5:00-8:00 pm at the McNary-Moore Chapel – 107 5th Street, Colusa. Funeral services will be Saturday, January 21 at 11:00am at Colusa County Fair Grounds – Festival Hall. Burial will follow at the Colusa Cemetery on Westcott Road in Colusa.
