Cristina Manzano is a 29 year resident of Williams and a former graduate of Williams High School.
“Williams is a very welcoming community,” said Manzano.
Manzano, a truck driver for Manzano Transport, adores her small community, especially during almond and rice harvest time.
“I enjoy my job very much. Interacting with all the different people and the comfort of my cab. I wouldn’t trade it for any other job,” Manzano said.
Manzano, her husband, and son enjoy not only their hometown of Williams but all of Colusa County. Manzano spends her downtime attending marathons with her son.
“I enjoy watching him compete. He runs marathons and participates in Spartan Races as well. We just recently went to San Francisco to watch him compete,” said Manzano.
She also volunteers her time with the Maxwell 4-H sheep group.
“I like to help with the decorations for the kids lamb pens at the fairgrounds. Its an enjoyable time for all who attend,” said Manzano.
