Lifelong Arbuckle Resident, Vivian Kalfsbeek-Burress passed away on December 19th, 2011 at the age of 99. Vivian was born in San Francisco, Ca. on November 29, 1912.
An active member in the community, she worked as the secretary for the Arbuckle for over 15 years. Vivan was an avid bridge player, and was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Arbuckle Golf Club. He greatest past time was traveling and spending time with her family.
Vivian is survived by her daughter Pat Myers of Colusa, granddaughters Carol Geyer (Andy) of Arbuckle, & Pam Nardinelli (Dave) of Woodland, grandson Paul Hurni (Becky) of Florida, great-grandchildren Abby Hayes, Sean Trujillo, Jake Geyer, Ben Geyer, Molly Geyer, Allison Nardinelli, & Jenny Nardinelli, great-great-granddaughter Bailey Hayes.
She is preceded in death by her 1st husband Herman Kalfsbeek, daughter Diane McAtee & 2nd husband Warren Burress
Mass of Christian Burial was held Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 408 Laurel Street, Arbuckle. She was laid to her eternal rest at the Arbuckle Cemetery in Arbuckle.
