Arbuckle Woman receives KSU Agriculture Student of the Month recognition

Mary Marsh, of Arbuckle, is the recipient of the Kansas State University College of Agriculture September Student of the Month. Mary was nominated by the K-State Collegiate Cattlewomen organization.

She is currently a sophomore in the Agricultural Communications and Journalism degree program.

While attending K-State, Mary has been involved with the Collegiate Cattlewomen, Agricultural Communicators of Tomorrow, Block and Bridle, and Saint Isidore’s Catholic Church.

“As an out-of-state student, I came to Kansas State last year knowing nobody. As I muddled through adapting to college life, I also had to forge a reputation for myself,” said Marsh. “To be recognized for my involvement means so much because it shows me I am a valued team player and am really making a difference. By being nominated for this honor, I know I am making strides in my goal of becoming more educated on such an incredible part of the agriculture scene.”

The Student of the Month is awarded by the College of Agriculture Student Council.
