Pumpkin Village coloring contest winners announced

With over 600 entries in the Pumpkin Village Coloring Contest, the volunteers and members of the Colusa County Arts Council had a difficult time judging.

“The entrants made it very hard this year to choose,” said Pam Nehues, a Pumpkin Village Volunteer. “We had a lot of great entries.”

The top four entrants for children aged 4-6 were: Valeria Iniguez (Williams), Sofia Hernandez Ruiz (Arbuckle), Jasmin Gonzalez (Williams), and David (Arbuckle).

The top four entrants for children aged 7-9 were: Elouize Faris (Our Lady of Lourdes), Cami Toscano (Our Lady of Lourdes), Gerardo Navarro (Colusa), and Rafael Garcia (Arbuckle).

The top four entrants for children aged 10-12 were: Alondra Barrera (Arbuckle), Magal Jauregui (Arbuckle), Ma Martinez (Arbuckle), Alina Rodriguez (Arbuckle), and Roseita Johnson (Arbuckle).

Winners will be contacted by their teachers and will receive a Spookley Wristband for use any day at Pumpkin Village.
