Maxwell to hold Balloon Ceremony

Following the conclusion of its Football Homecoming game on Friday, Oct. 27, the Maxwell High School FBLA Chapter will host a balloon releasing ceremony to raise awareness for Breast Cancer.

LED lighted balloons will be sold for $5 each and will be released to honor individuals who are battling cancer, fought cancer, and in memory of those who lost their lives to the vicious disease.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Colusa County Breast Cancer Fund.

The group anticipates starting the ceremony around 9 PM on Friday, Oct. 27.
