Pumpkin Village, fun for the whole family

Corn sandbox, story time, hayrides, face painting, and pumpkins, the Colusa County Pumpkin Village opened with great success last weekend.

Miss Colusa County, Hannah Azevedo participated by helping the Colusa Master Gardeners with storytime duty.

“It’s a lot of fun to read to the kids and watch them have fun,” said Azevedo.

Fun for all ages, families participated in climbing the giant hay pyramid, navigating the hay maze, racing rubber duckies, and even taking a splash in the corn sandbox.

Pumpkin Village will wrap up this weekend 10 AM to 4 PM on Saturday, Oct. 28, and Sunday, Oct. 29 with some great deals. Between the hours of 10 AM and Noon, on Saturday its ‘Buy-one Get-one’ with Spookly Wristband. The wristbands allow for unlimited fun for the day, with no additional ticket purchases necessary.

On Sunday, Oct. 29, if you buy one pumpkin, you’ll get one free.
