The Princeton Ag Boosters hosted their third successful Harvest Dinner and Dance on Saturday.
The Ag Boosters is a local non-profit organization that supports the FFA program at Princeton High School.
The annual Harvest Dinner is the organization’s biggest fundraiser of the year, with proceeds helping students with travel, lodging and conference expenses, awards, and other activities.
The event included a New York steak dinner, door prizes, no-host cocktails, and dancing to live music.
Numerous businesses from both Colusa and Glenn counties supported the event by donating dozens of raffle and silent auction prizes.
“I want to thank all of our sponsors, all of our members, and all the business that have helped us to put this on,” said Booster President Dan Chrestensen. “There were a lot of people who helped us, and we couldn’t do this with out them.”
The dinner and dance was held at the Princeton Portuguese Hall.
Chrestensen said the annual affair is an enjoyable event for the public, family of Princeton FFA members, and supporters of agriculture programs in Colusa County schools. ■
