Bertha Guadalupe Franco (1954-2018)

Bertha Guadalupe Franco passed away peacefully on January 1, 2018 at home in Sacramento with her loving family by her side. She was born to Doroteo and Maria Franco on December 25, 1954 in Mexico. She was a resident of Colusa for over 50 years. She was last employed by the City of Williams. Bertha was a faithful parishioner at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Colusa, California. She enjoyed cooking, baking, telling stories and caring for her two dogs, Peggy and Chiquita.

Bertha is survived by her siblings: Benilde, Oscar, Abel, Hector, Martha, Dinora and Gloria and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Humberto and Jeronimo.

Services will be on Monday, January 8, 2018 at St. Mary Cemetery and Funeral Center, 6509 Fruitridge Road, Sacramento, California 95820.  Visitation will be held from 5:30PM – 6:30PM with a Rosary service at 6:30PM and Funeral Mass at 7PM. Burial services will follow in Mexico at a later date.
