Glenn County’s Tyler Batchelder, Ashlynn Geiger, and Gerald Peters and Colusa County’s Chase Alvernaz, Andrea Thomas, Taylor Perry, and Martin Orduno will each receive one thousand dollars to continue their education. Each student is well deserving and pursuing a career goal that will support beef production and education.

In order to qualify for the scholarships, students must have graduated from a high school in Glenn or Colusa counties and completed 2 years of college and be majoring in an ag-related field with a focus on beef production and promotion.

The Glenn-Colusa CattleWomen and Cattlemen would like to thank all who applied for the scholarships and to those who supported and attended our February Holiday Topper scholarship fundraiser. Thanks to you, we were able to award $7000 in scholarships this year.
