Ida Jane Fisher Wilborn Burnard passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 29, at Williamsburg Village in DeSoto, Texas, at the age of 82.
She is survived by her daughter Judy Hartman, of Newport Beach, CA; Grandchildren Stacey (Nick) Mohilchock, Todd Hartman, Mathias Hartman; Sister Marjory Ehrke; Nephews Martin and Nathan Ehrke; Great Nephews Brandon and Daniel; Step-daughters Debra Maier, Barbara (Glenn) Tracy, and Stepson Mike Burnard.
Ida Jane was born in Red Bluff, CA, on September 24, 1935, to Nyle and Lillian (Crique) Fisher. The family moved to College City in 1937, and Ida Jane attended schools in College City and Arbuckle, and graduated from Pierce High School in 1953. She married Roger Wilborn in 1956 and they moved to Southern California after Roger graduated from U.C.
Davis. She later married Bill Burnard of Dallas, Texas in 1978, who preceded her in death in 1998.
Ida Jane had been a rock hound all her life, and also was an ardent collector of shells and fossils.
Graveside services were held at Dallis Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas on Thursday, June 14, 2018.
