Notice of Public Hearing County of Colusa to consider use of funds for projects under title III

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND INTENT TO CONSIDER USE OF (SECURE RURAL SCHOOLS AND COMMUNITY SELF DETERMINATION ACT ) FUNDS FOR PROJECTS UNDER TITLE III BY THE COLUSA COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Supervisors will conduct a Public Hearing on November 13, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. in the Board of Supervisors Chamber, located at 547 Market Street, Ste. 108, Colusa, CA to consider the following proposals:

Colusa County Resource Conservation District – Development of a Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP) in the amount of $10,000, and

Colusa County Sheriff’s Office – Funds will be used to reimburse the County for any search and rescue incidents, and law enforcement patrols within the U.S. National Forest boundary and/or Bureau of Land Management lands, purchase equipment or cover the cost of training for search and rescue in the amount of $15,000.

The 45 day Public Comment period will be from September 26, 2018 through November 9, 2018 at 4:00 p.m.

The Board of Supervisors encourages your comments on the proposed funding and projects. Written comments must be received no later than November 9, 2018.
