MAXWELL Panthers hosted Burney on Feb. 11 in the first round of Division VI NCIF Playoffs. Maxwell’s offense found success at the basket leading the entire game. Their 70-50 win against Burney granted them a road trip to Anderson last Thursday for the second round of playoffs. Maxwell led the majority of the night but the clock worked against them and their season came to an end with a 77-66 loss to American Christian Academy.

MAXWELL Lady Panthers took a forfeit in Division VII NCIF Playoffs against Surprise Valley to end their season on Feb. 13.

WILLIAMS Lady Jackets descended to Mt Shasta Feb. 12 for the first round of play in Division V of the NCIF playoffs. A tough defense from the Mt Shasta Bears kept the Yellowjackets short at the hoop. Williams season came to an end with a 54-20 loss.

COLUSA REDHAWKS basketball team picked up a big win Feb. 12 over Lassen in the first round of the Division IV NCIF playoffs with a final score 75-66. The Redhawks went on the road last Friday with a match-up against number one seed, West Valley. Despite a great run by the Redhawks offense, West Valley secured the win, 72-61.

WILLIAMS Yellowjackets home game playoff was moved to Chico last Friday evening against the Esparto Spartans. Williams found success at the goal line and went on to secure a 4-2 win and advancement to the next round.

COLUSA Ladyhawks traveled to Hamilton last Friday evening for their first round of playoffs and crossed the goal line seven times for a Colusa win, 7-1 final score over Hamilton.
