Doug LaMalfa Earns the Endorsement of the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association

Conservative Farmer Doug LaMalfa announced today that he earned the endorsement of the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association in his campaign for the U.S. House of Representatives.  The Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association is California’s leading taxpayer organization and one of the most influential endorsements possible.

“Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association proudly endorses Doug LaMalfa for U.S. House of Representatives because he is a proven friend of taxpayers and someone we can count on to fight taxes, overspending and Government waste in Washington, D.C.,” said Jon Coupal President of the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association.

Rep. Wally Herger announced in early January his plan to retire at the end of his current term and endorsed Doug LaMalfa for the seat. Since then, LaMalfa has gained significant momentum and support from local, state and national conservative leaders and groups.

“I am honored to have the support of the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association.  Together we have fought to protect hard working families across California from tax increases and out of control spending,” said LaMalfa.  “Our federal government is borrowing 43 cents of every dollar it spends. Washington, D.C. needs a dose of fiscal reality.  America cannot continue on this path of spending and borrowing.”

Doug LaMalfa is a fourth generation farmer in the First District and the current State Senator for the area. ■
