The Sacramento River Fire District, Grand Island held its 15th Annual New Years Day Breakfast on Jan 1, 2012 at the Grand Island Fire Dept. in Grimes CA.

Dozens of individuals braved the cold and fog as the lines formed at 8:00am for the ever-popular event that includes a full breakfast menu of Ham, Sausage, Bacon, Eggs, Hash browns, Pancakes, Biscuits and Gravy and famous Breakfast Burrito Station. All drinks are provided.

This is the 15th anniversary of the event, a major fundraiser for the station. Proceeds from the breakfast go towards Scholarships, funding of local school and library projects as well as upgrading the fire station.
