John Thomas Rosevelt Williams (1941-2011)

Colusa resident, John Thomas Roosevelt Williams, passed away on Monday, December 5th, 2011, he was 70 years old. John was born February 11, 1941 in Hillborough, North Carolina where he was baptized in the United Holiness Church.

As a resident of Colusa for 10 years, John was a member of the Colusa First Christian Church and has touched the lives of many throughout his years.

John was also an avid gardener, and often took refuge in fishing and race cars. He was also a member of the Brick Masons.

John is survived by his wife Ramona Brooks Williams of Colusa; children Rodney Williams of Mebane, NC.; Meishca Williams of Hillsborough, NC.; Sisters Elnora Gore (William) of Clemmons, NC, Carrie Hester (Lawrence) of Springfield, VA. 9 Grandchildren, 5 Great-grandchildren

John was preceded in death by his parents Elder William Henry Williams and Carrie B. Ray Williams; sisters Esther Mae, Hallie Naomi, Bertha Ruth; Brother William Ira.

A service was held on Friday, December 9, 2011 at the McNary-Moore Chapel in Colusa.
