Colusa County Arts Council Hosts Avenue of the Arts


1173779_3250242471747_181328687_nJoin the Colusa County Arts Council on Saturday, September 14th from 6:30pm to 8:30pm for what is being called “An amazing art show like you have never seen before!” said the Colusa County Arts Council representative, Amelia Harter.

The event is being hosted at home of Sheila and Allen Etchepare located at 3420 Grover Avenue, in Colusa. Food and wine will be served in addition to other evening activities.

The Featured Artist of the evening is, Noel Etchepare-Stubblefield from Maxwell.

Works by local Photographers Ricard Lau, of Williams and Sue Graue of Colusa, will also be featured.

Ron McVey of Colusa will be displaying photos from WWII.

Two very tallented sisters, Rosa and Margarita Valdez of Colusa, will display their freehand artwork.

Larissa Wilson of Yuba City will present a collection of watercolor pieces.

Peter Adams, The Colusa County Arts Council ceramics instructor will display his hand crafted pieces and discussing the various art classes offered within the organization.

Colusa native Jo Ollerman will feature her collections as well.

This event is FREE for all CURRENT CCAC Members.

It is easy and affordable to become a member of the Colusa County Arts Council; Individual Membership $30, Family Membership $40, Business/Individual Donor $100. Your ticket is your membership.

The organization encourages everyone to become members, “We have many non-active members,” said Harter, “these are people who want to be informed on all the CCAC news; however they can-not necessarily become involved.”
