Vehicle Collides with Tomato Truck

An Arbuckle woman suffered major injuries after her vehicle collided head-on with a Freightliner tractor-trailer hauling tomatoes outside of Williams on September 10th, 2013 at approximately 3:07 A.M., the California Highway Patrol reported. 
Mayra Bravo, 29 of Arbuckle, was driving west on Myers Road, approached the Old Highway 99 intersection in her silver 2002 Honda CRV and subsequently collided head-on with
Humberto Hernandez, 53 of Colusa, who was traveling northbound on old Highway 99 in his 2011 Freightliner Tractor-trailer.
The collision caused one of the trailers to overturn and spill its contents into the intersection. 
Both parties were trapped within their vehicles and were extracted by fire personnel. 
Bravo was airlifted to Enloe Regional Medical Center for significant injuries. Hernandez was transported by ground to Colusa Regional Medical Center for complaint of pain.
The collision is under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
