Grimes Ladies Aid to host Dinner and Bazaar

The Grimes Ladies Aid Society will host its Annual Dinner and Bazaar on Saturday, November 2nd, at the Grand Island Elementary School, beginning at 5:00 P.M.

Guest will enjoy an ‚Äėall you can eat‚Äô Turkey and Ham Dinner, served with all the Trimming. Dinner Tickets are just $10 for Adults, and $5 for Children ages 6 to 12, and Free for Children 5 and under.

The Grimes Ladies Aid and several Grimes volunteers work hard to make the event delightful.

With dinner, a Bazaar booths will begin selling at 5:00 P.M., and will include linens, crafts, Christmas Items, Boutique Items, and mystery packages for all ages. A Country Store with local produce, baked goods, candies and jellies will also be available.

The Grimes Civic Association will sponsor a raffle table; the earnings help preserve the Grimes Scout Cabin, a popular meeting place since the 1930’s.

A lucky raffle winner will receive a gorgeous quilt, handmade by Jane Hardy.

The Grimes Ladies Aid, organized in 1901 has hosted the annual dinner and bazaar. Making the event a staple and wonderful small-town celebration shared by the entire community of grimes and its neighbors. The public invited to attend this once a year fund-raiser.

Funds from the event help preserve the beautiful Grimes Community Church, built in 1875. As well as, supporting the school and various community needs.

Please join the group for great food, fun and friendship on Saturday, November 2nd, starting at 5:00 P.M.
