Festival of Lights Parade Approaching

As many of us are putting away our skeletons and other ghostly decorations, the Citizens for a Better Williams is busy planning its 6th Annual Festival of Lights Celebration in Downtown Williams.

On Saturday, December 14th, 2013 a celebration of the season will kick off with a Downtown Holiday Stroll beginning at 4:00 P.M.

Street vendors, small businesses, homemade crafts and goodies will line ‚ÄėE‚Äô street between 6th and 7th. Come browse and find hidden treasures while socializing with friends and family.

At 6:30 p.m. the town square tree will be lit and the parade of lights will begin shortly after.

Registration Forms for the Festival of Lights Parade and the Downtown Holiday Stroll (Vendors) are available online or at New Attitude Salon in Williams or pick them up at Williams City Hall.

Hosted rain or shine, the parade, must go on.

Later that night, starting at 9:00 p.m., come join the Williams Fire Department at their 90th Annual Fireman’s Ball at the Old Gym. The cost is $10 per couple, and you must be 21 to attend.
