The Woodland Gun & Knife Show is once again being hosted by Upper Ridge Gunworks owner Carolan Meek. The two-day show is December 14 & 15. Show hours are 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturday and 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Sunday.
This is the second year Meek’s company has hosted the show at the Yolo County Fairgrounds at 1250 East Gum Street in Woodland.
Table fees for vendors are $50 a table and can be reserved by calling Meek at (707) 489-6238.
There are discounted fees for multiple table rentals.
Parking is free, but there is a $5 admission to the show.
Meeks said she is pleased to bring the show back this year. “I work closely with the fair manager in Woodland and bringing the gun and knife show to the grounds is one of the ways we are bringing more events to the fairgrounds.
“As a former fair manager myself; I have learned that the more you utilize the grounds year around the better. Fairgrounds are more than a once-a-year venue,” she said.
Additionally Meek stated that there have been comments from gun show patrons seeking ways to avoid excessive parking and admission fees at other shows.
“This is our way of trying to accommodate more gun show patrons,” she said.
