At approximately 8:35 a.m. on Monday, November 11th, the California Highway Patrol responded to a solo vehicle collision located at Highway 20, in the vicinity of East Camp Road, near Williams; leaving two Fortuna residents injured, the California Highway Patrol Reported.
21-year old, Cory Burrill was driving a 1984 Pontiac Fiero, at an unknown rate of speed on westbound Highway 20 when he allowed his vehicle to drift off the road way. Subsequently the vehicle rolled over an unknown amount of times.
Burrill and his 21-year old passenger Marco Alvarez, of Fortuna, sustained minor to moderate injuries.
Burrill was transported by ground ambulance to Colusa Regional Medical Center.
Alvarez was transported to Enloe Medical Center in Chico by ambulance.
Both parties were wearing their seatbelts at the time of this collision.
The collision is still under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
