A Wind Advisory, Freeze/Hard Freeze Warning has been issued from the National Weather Service TODAY.
A very cold air mass originating from Western Canada is moving into California bringing cold temperatures, well below freezing, in addition to gusty northerly winds.
Northerly winds can have gusts up to 35 MPH, with the Wind Advisory in effect until 5:00 p.m. this afternoon.
Sub-freezing temperatures are imminent or highly likely early Wednesday Morning with a Freeze Warning in effect from 2:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 4th, 2013.
These conditions will kill crops and other sensitive vegetation.
Lastly, the National Weather Service has issued a HARD FREEZE warning in effect for Midnight Wednesday to 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 6th.
Temperatures overnight will be in the low 28 to 32, then in the 20’s by Wednesday night and Thursday night into Friday morning.
