Candidate for Colusa County Sheriff, Joe Garofalo, has received the endorsement of the Arbuckle Volunteer Firefighter Association as well as an endorsement received by Colusa Police Chief, Ross Stark.
For thirty years, the Arbuckle Volunteer Firefighter Association has not endorsed a candidate for Sheriff, but Garofalo’s reputation in the law enforcement community, his roots in the area, and vision for the future continue to earn the overwhelming support of public safety organizations, business owners, and local residents.
When Colusa Police Chief was asked about his endorsement, Chief Stark said, “I have known Joe for a long time, we share the same passion for our profession, and we have dedicated our careers to the safety of our communities. He is a leader for that department and our region, and he is the right choice for Sheriff.”
A native of Colusa County, Garofalo, has spent the last twenty years of his life protecting our youth, residents, and business owners against the criminals who cause them harm. He has systematically ascended through the ranks of the department as Patrol Officer, S.W.A.T. Team Leader, and Sergeant, always demonstrating a knack for both leadership and integrity.
As Sheriff, Garofalo will look to increase efficiency within the department, reinstate meaningful youth programs, and crack down on rural and agricultural crime. Additionally, Garofalo will lead the way for the safety of hard working families, the reduction of rural crime, and the reinstatement of beneficial youth programs. His ability to increase efficiency within the department will continue to benefit local taxpayers and business owners.
“It is an honor to have the endorsement of Chief Stark, and the continued support of our public safety leaders, business owners, and community members,” said Garofalo. “I look forward to furthering my commitment to the region that my family and I have always called home.”
