Betty Carolyn Struckmeyer (1938 – 2013)

StruckmeyerBetty Carolyn Hardy Struckmeyer passed away peacefully at home in Post Falls, Idaho, on Monday August 19, 2013.

Carolyn was born on March 19th, 1938 to Jess and Betty Hardy. She was a lifelong resident of Colusa County until her retirement to Post Falls, Idaho.

Carolyn is survived by two sisters; Joan Ohland of Post Falls, Idaho and Patricia Kalfsbeek of Arbuckle, CA; four daughters, Darcey Walker (Jack) of Missouri, Denise Yagi and Rebecca Struckmeyer of Post Falls, Idaho and Martha Sachs (Shelby) of College City, CA; grandsons, Ryan Grimmer, Chad Starnater, Dalton Sachs and Taki Yagi; granddaughters; April Starnater, Sydney Ripley, Paige Struckmeyer, Yuki Yagi and three great grandchildren. Numerous nieces, nephews and many other loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jim Struckmeyer and parents, Jess and Betty Hardy.

Visitation was held at McNary-Moore Chapel on Tuesday, August 27th, 2013 from 5:30 p.m.-8:00 p.m. Graveside service was held Wednesday, August 28th, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the College City Cemetery.

Donations in Carolyn’s memory be made to the Arbuckle Fire Department, or College City Cemetery.
