It is both my pleasure and my honor to enthusiastically endorse Gary Teragawa for the position of Sheriff of Colusa County. I have been acquainted with this dedicated lawman for over 30 years, and it is hard to imagine anyone who is more qualified to be a sheriff.
My friendship with Gary grew out of professional respect. As both a commander with the Los Angeles Police Department and Deputy Chief with the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, he and I worked on a number of criminal cases as well as becoming colleagues in leadership training. He is the consummate professional, an absolute pleasure to work and associate with, and someone who enjoys enormous credibility within the law enforcement profession.
It is essential to recognize the absolute correlation between leadership abilities and the safety of our communities. In Gary Teragawa, the Colusa County Sheriff’s Department will not have just a very decent man, but more importantly a seasoned and well-respected Sheriff who has a well-deserved track record for strong management and public safety leadership!
I am pleased to have my name associated with Gary Teragawa.
