Marijuana & Methamphetamine’s Recovered from Traffic Stop

chp_shieldOn January 4, 2014 at about 2:20 p.m. the California Highway Patrol made an enforcement stop on 
State Route Highway 20, west of Mitchell Flatts in Williams after a report of a driver tailgating vehicles and crossing over the double yellow lines. 
As the officer approached the vehicle a strong odor of fresh marijuana was emitting from the vehicle and with probable cause, a search was conducted and a black trash bag was located within the vehicle containing 15 ounces of Marijuana. 
Adam Hetzel Lee, 43 of Fort Bragg California, was identified as the driver of the vehicle. 
His passenger Marina Britton Anderson, 29 of Fort Bragg California was found to be in possession of 2.73 grams of methamphetamine and in addition to a glass pipe with meth residue. 
The Driver was arrested for possession of Marijuana, Possession with intent to sell and transportation of Marijuana. 
The passenger was arrested for possession and transportation of methamphetamines and possession of a drug paraphernalia. 
Both subjects were not physical but were verbally uncooperative on the way to jail and throughout the booking process at the Colusa County Jail. 
An 8-year old passenger was taken to the Williams CHP Office and was released to a family member.
