Two Injured in I-5 Rollover South of Arbuckle

One person was airlifted to Enloe Medical Center after a single vehicle collision early Wednesday morning at about 5:00 a.m. on January 15th, 2014.

Approximately one mile south of Arbuckle on Interstate 5, Minghui Peng, 55 of San Gabriel, was traveling in the north bound lane in a 2011 Mazda hatchback at an unknown rate of speed; when for an unknown reasons, Peng turned his vehicle sharply to the left and lost control of the vehicle.

The vehicle continued out of control in a northwesterly direction across the center median, onto incoming traffic continuing off the road. The vehicle subsequently overturned and came to rest against a perimeter fence.

Arbuckle Fire Department and the California Highway Patrol were dispatched to the location.

Peng was transported to Colusa Regional Medical Center.

Peng’s passenger Li Zhi Qiang was transported by helicopter to Enloe Medical Center for treatment of injuries.
