Joe Garofalo, candidate for Colusa County Sheriff, has received the endorsement of the Williams Police Officers Association. Their support adds to the growing list of public safety organizations supporting Garofalo’s campaign and continues to exemplify the fact that he is the choice of law enforcement.

When asked about the endorsement, Danny Mata, President of the Williams Police Officers Association said, “Joe’s involvement at all levels of law enforcement has given him the experience he needs to be an effective Sheriff. His commitment to the Colusa County community and his passion for public safety make him the best choice to protect our region.”

Garofalo has worked in Colusa County law enforcement for nearly twenty years. This devotion to protecting his community has garnered support from public safety organizations, fellow peace officers, and hundreds of community members.

“I appreciate the support of my colleagues and am sincerely honored to have their endorsement. I look forward to strengthening my commitment to the safety of our communities,” said Garofalo.

Garofalo has worked to protect the region’s youth, residents, and business owners against the criminals who cause them harm. As Sheriff, Garofalo will increase efficiency within the department, reinstate beneficial youth programs, and crack down on rural and agricultural crime.
